The Pilalo tree frog is a species of frog in the family Hylidae endemic to Ecuador. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montane forests and rivers. It has been observed between 2300 and 2600 meters above sea level. It is threatened by habitat loss. The adult male frog measures about 65.9 mm in snout-vent length and the adult female frog about 77.3 mm.
