Michael Tally Ringwood has been a general authority of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints since 2009. Ringwood was born in Provo, Utah, to Sharon Lee and Howard Lee Ringwood. At the time, Howard was a football player for Brigham Young University (BYU). Ringwood was raised in Salt Lake City and then went to BYU on a leadership scholarship.
