Lin May Saeed (1973-2023) was a German-Iraqi sculptor and activist. She is known for her work that dealt with humans relationship with animals. Saeed was born in Würzburg, Germany. Her father was Iraqi. She was a longtime vegan. She studied at Düsseldorf Art Academy, graduating in 2001. It was in Düsseldorf that Saeed first became active against animal cruelty.
