Karatal District is a district of Jetisu Region in Kazakhstan. The administrative center of the district is the town of Ushtobe. Population: 47,760; 47,824; 46,744. There is a museum dedicated to the history of Koreans in the area in Ushtobe, called the Karatal Korean History Center.
