Gordon was a county constituency of the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom (Westminster), which elected one member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election. The constituency was first contested at the 1983 UK general election; and underwent boundary changes throughout its existence. The constituency was represented by Colin Clark of the Scottish Conservatives, who gained the seat from former Scottish First Minister and former Scottish National Party
