General Asif Nawaz Janjua NI(M), HI(M), SBt, psc, was a senior officer of the Pakistan Army who served as the fourth chief of army staff from 16 August 1991 until his death from arsenic poisoning. His family commissioned a private test on hair from his brush, which was conducted in the United States. The test registered high levels of arsenic.
