text: Zapora is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Czersk, within Chojnice County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. It lies approximately 18 kilometres (11 mi) west of Czersk, 14 km (9 mi) north-east of Chojnice, and 89 km (55 mi) south-west of the regional capital Gdańsk. On January 29, 1951, the name Mylof was officially changed to Zapora. For details of the history of the region, see History of Pomerania.
