Yondó is a town and municipality in Antioquia Department, Colombia. It is part of the Magdalena Medio Antioquia sub-region. The first settlers arrived around 10,000 BC; archaeological site. The town was founded in 1941 to lodge the, at that time, discovered Casabe oilfield's engineers and workers of Shell Colombia S.A.(SCSA) Subsidiary of Royal Dutch Shell.
