Yona Yahav is an Israeli lawyer and politician. He was formerly a member of the Knesset for the Labor Party. Yahav was the mayor of Haifa between 2003 and 2018. In the 2018 Haifa mayoral election, he lost to Einat Kalisch-Rotem. In the 2024 Haifa mayoral election in the second round of elections for mayor, Yahav defeated David Etzioni and thus returned to serve as mayor of Haifa.
