Rabbi Yechezkel Taub was the Yabloner Rebbe. Taub was a Hasidic leader in the migration from Europe to Israel in the interwar years, and a founder of Kfar Hasidim. He was a namesake and descendant of the first Rabbi Yechezkel Taub, Grand Rebbe of Kuzmir. He lost his faith after the Holocaust, becoming a secular Los Angelan laborer and businessman, with his past identity hidden.
