Yakınca is a neighbourhood of the municipality and district of Yeşilyurt, Malatya Province, Turkey. Its population is 23,063 (2022). Before the 2013 reorganisation, it was a town (belde). It is situated between Malatya and Yeşilyurt on the Turkish state highway D.850. It is almost merged to Yeşilyurt and only 11 kilometres (6.8 mi) from Malatya. According to the mayor's page, the town was founded by a Turkmen tribe during the Dulkadir Beylik era. In 1964, it was declared a seat of township. The
