text: Yaho is a department in the Balé Province in southern Burkina Faso. Its capital lies at the town of Yaho. According to the 1996 census the department had a total population of 14,257. As of August 2009 the department's population has increased to 16,424. Yaho is a rural commune consisting of 10 villages and the area is approximately 400 km2.
