text: Wormley is a village and former civil parish, lying between Hoddesdon and Cheshunt in the Broxbourne district, in the county of Hertfordshire, England. The village is part of the ward of Wormley and Turnford, which had a population of 8,146 at the 2001 census. In 1931 the parish had a population of 930. The parish was abolished in 1935 and absorbed into Hoddesdon.
