Capt. William Ramsay Hutchison was a Scottish international rugby union player. He was killed in World War I. He played for Glasgow District in the inter-city match against Edinburgh District on 3 March 1910. He played for Glasgow High School FP and was capped for Scotland in 1911. He was commissioned as an officer in the Royal Scots Fusiliers in 1912 and promoted to Captain in 1913. He was sent to France at the beginning of the First World War seeing action at the Battle of Loos and on the Somm
