Lt Col Wentworth Schofield was a British politician who served as the last Conservative Member of Parliament (MP) for Rochdale from 25 October 1951 to 16 December 1957. Schofield was from Oldham, Lancashire, and was active in the cotton-spinning industry. He formed the Manchester Yarn Spinners' Association and was a committee member of the Oldham Master Cotton Spinners' Association and the Federation of Master Cotton Spinners' Association, as well as acting as secretary to a cotton trade associa
