text: Wandiligong is a town in north-eastern Victoria, Australia. The town is located on Morses Creek and in the Alpine Shire local government area, 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) south of Bright and 330 kilometres (210 mi) north east of the state capital, Melbourne. At the 2016 census, Wandiligong had a population of 453. Wandiligong was established in the 1850s during the Victorian gold rush and at one stage the town was home to 2,000 people.
