Volker Ippig is a German former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Ippig spent the entirety of his football career with TSV Lensahn and FC St. Pauli, playing in the Bundesliga with the latter. He is also known for his political views and activism, having been part of the Hafenstraße squatter movement and community projects with the Sandinista National Liberation Front in Nicaragua and became known as "the punk in goal" at St. Pauli.
