The Victims, Witnesses, and Justice Reform (Scotland) Bill is a bill of the Scottish Parliament. The proposed legislation includes measures to scrap the verdict of not proven in Scottish trials, and to reduce the number of jurors in Scottish trials from 15 to 12. The bill will also provides for a pilot scheme whereby some rape trials will be held without a jury. It was introduced into Parliament on 25 April 2023.
