Vanda is an early opera by the Czech composer Antonín Dvořák (1841–1904) about the legendary Polish (Cracow) princess Vanda, which was literaryised in the movement of the national revival by Julian Surzycki (1820–1882) from Warsaw, a Polish national awakener, politician, civil engineer and occasional poet.
