Vāstoṣpati is a Hindu god that presides over the foundation of a house or homestead, mentioned in Mandala 7.55 of the Rigveda. In the Rigveda, Vāstoṣpati is also referred to as pṛdāku-sānu, or 'he whose back is speckled'.
