The Department of Sociology and Social Work of Uzhhorod National University is one of the four departments of the Faculty of Social Sciences UzhNU. Uzhhorod National University was one of the first universities in Ukraine to teach the specialty "Social work". That's why at the Lawyer Faculty UzhDU was created the department of social work in 1996 and was taken the first set of students.
