Uvinsky District is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-five in the Udmurt Republic, Russia. It is located in the southwestern central part of the republic. The area of the district is 2,445.4 square kilometers (944.2 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality of Uva. Population: 39,671 (2010 Russian census); 40,738; 40,876 (1989 Soviet census). The population of Uva accounts for 50.4% of the district's total population.
