Unzela pronoe is a moth of the family Sphingidae first described by Herbert Druce in 1894. It is found from Belize, Guatemala and Honduras to Venezuela and south to Bolivia. The wingspan is 44 mm. There are probably two to three generations per year with adults recorded from May to June, August to September and from December to January. The larvae probably feed on Vitis tiliifolia and other Vitaceae and Dilleniaceae species, such as Vitis, Cissus rhombifolia and Ampelopsis, Tetracera volubilis,
