text: Untomia rotundata is a moth of the family Gelechiidae. It was described by Walsingham in 1911. It is found in Mexico (Tabasco). The wingspan is about 8.5 mm. The forewings are whitish ochreous, slightly suffused with brownish olivaceous. Along the base of the dorsum is a strong brownish patch reaching to beyond one-third, its outer end becoming nearly black, produced upward and outward to a point on the middle of the wing.
