text: Untomia latistriga is a moth of the family Gelechiidae. It was described by Walsingham in 1911. It is found in Mexico (Morelos). The wingspan is about 12 mm. The forewings are whitish ochreous, a black spot at the base of the costa, produced in a narrow line along the costa to beyond one-third, where it is dilated into a broad patch shaded with brown along its lower edge, and continued to the commencement of the costal cilia.
