It is located in the constellation of Pisces and about 285,000 thousand light-years in diameter. With its neighboring galaxy PGC 212740, they together form the galaxy pair, VV 341. They are also known as Arp 70, the 70th number in the Atlas of Peculiar Galaxies, created by Halton Arp.
