Tupou VI is King of Tonga. He is the younger brother and successor of the late King George Tupou V. The future Tupou VI was born as Tonga's Royal Palace as the youngest child of the Crown Prince and Crown Princess, later King Tāufaʻāhau Tupou IV and Queen Halaevalu. He was named ʻAho‘eitu at birth. ʻAho‘eitu served as Prime Minister of Tonga from 2000 to 2006.
