Tshokwe is a village in Central District of Botswana. The village is located south-east of Francistown, near the border with Zimbabwe, and it has a primary school. The population was 897 according to the 2001 census. Tshokwe is 20 kilometres (12 mi) north of the village of Tobane, to which it is connected by a footpath.
The village is extremely poor, and was afflicted by an outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease, which caused the cattle to be destroyed.
