Tontemboan is an Austronesian language, of northern Sulawesi, Indonesia. It is a Minahasan language, a sub-group of the Philippine languages. Some lexical influence originates from European and other non-Minahasan languages, such as Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese, Malay, and Ternate.
