William Thomas "Cactus" Brooks, was a well-known television star and radio announcer in Louisville, Kentucky, for many years. Brooks was best known as "Cactus", the cowboy clown character and sidekick to Randy Atcher on T-Bar-V Ranch and Hayloft Hoedown, two popular local shows on Louisville's WHAS-TV from 1950 until 1971.
