Thomas Levy was a British Conservative Member of Parliament. He was the son of Lewis Levy, from Denmark Hill in south London, and was educated at the City of London School. In the First World War, he was assistant executive officer of food control, in Bournemouth. During the General Strike of 1919 he was officer in command of transport. In 1931 he was elected to the House of Commons as a Conservative, as Member of Parliament (MP) the Elland constituency in Yorkshire, a seat he held in 1935 but l
