Thomas Daniel Winter was a U.S. Representative from Kansas. Born in Columbus, Kansas, Winter attended the public and high schools. During the First World War served as a private in the United States Army Air Service in 1918 and 1919. Court reporter of the district court of Crawford County, Kansas from 1921 to 1927. He studied law and was admitted to the bar in 1926 and commenced practice in Girard, Kansas. He served as assistant county attorney of Crawford County, Kansas, in 1927 and 1928 and co
