The Dowling Poole is an English power pop band formed in 2013 by the singers/songwriters/multi-instrumentalists Willie Dowling and Jon Poole. Dowling originally came to public attention as frontman for London hard rock/glam metal band The Grip, going on to become keyboard player for The Wildhearts and subsequently fronting Honeycrack, Jackdaw4 and The Sugar Plum Fairies.
