Albert Edward Pryke Briggs was a British seaman and the last of the three survivors of the destruction of the battlecruiser HMS Hood. He remained in the Royal Navy after the Second World War and was later commissioned, serving a total of 35 years in the Royal Navy by the time of his retirement in 1973.
