text: Taygete sylvicolella is a moth in the family Autostichidae. It was described by August Busck in 1903. It is found in North America, where it has been recorded from Illinois, Maine, New York, Ohio and South Carolina. The wingspan is about 15 mm. The forewings are white, thickly overlaid with dark fuscous. There are three brown, nearly black costal spots, one at the base, one just before the costal cilia, and one midway between these.
