Tangani'a, also known as Tanganyika, is one of the four sectors in the Fizi Territory of South Kivu Province, located in the eastern region of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). In the Bembe language (Kibembe) Tangani'a means "Tanganyika", which is the name of the major lake adjacent to the sector. It is bordered to the north by Uvira Territory and Mwenga Territory.
