Sylvester Maguire is an Irish former Gaelic footballer who played for Aodh Ruadh and the Donegal county team. He won the 1982 All-Ireland Under-21 Football Championship with Donegal. He fell out with senior county manager Tom Conaghan during the 1980s. Brian McEniff restored him to the panel in time for the 1990 Ulster Senior Football Championship, which Donegal won. He was a panellist on the day of the 1992 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship Final but did not play. He was seen exercising
