Swap Shop is an Australian children's television series which screened on the ABC in 1988. In the show, George helped his Aunt Mimi run a shop where items couldn’t be bought, only swapped for something else. That something could be literally anything, as established in the very first episode when someone leaves a cow in the shop. Swap Shop is unrelated to the similarly titled UK children’s show Multi-Coloured Swap Shop.
