The Sumatran puddle frog is a species of frog in the family Dicroglossidae.
It might be endemic to Indonesia. However, it has often been confused with Occidozyga laevis, and was also for long considered to be its junior synonym. Its known distribution is restricted to Sumatra and Java, as well as Sipora and Simeulue islands. The true distribution of this species is therefore poorly known but likely to be wider. Its natural habitats are tropical moist lowland forests, rivers, intermittent freshwa
