The Sukerchakia Misl was a Punjabi state and one of twelve misls in the Sikh Confederacy during the 18th century, initially concentrated in Gujranwala and Hafizabad districts in western Punjab. The misl, or grouping with its own guerilla militia (jatha), was founded by Charat Singh of Sandhawalia, grandfather of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, in 1748.
