Arthur Stanley Wilson was a Conservative Party politician in England. He was the son of the Hull-based shipowner and prominent local Liberal Arthur Wilson, who was best known nationally for hosting the party at his Tranby Croft home, which led to the royal baccarat scandal. He was educated at Eton College and Magdalene College, Cambridge. At the 1900 general election, Wilson was elected as Member of Parliament (MP) for Holderness. He held the seat until his defeat at the 1922 general election by
