St Peter's School is a co-educational private boarding and day school, in the English City of York, with extensive grounds on the banks of the River Ouse. Founded by St Paulinus of York in ADÂ 627, it is considered to be the third oldest school in the world although some historians take a more sceptical view. It is part of the Headmasters' and Headmistresses' Conference and York Boarding Schools Group. The school accepts pupils aged two to eighteen.
