Saint Augustine's University is a private historically black Christian college in Raleigh, North Carolina. It was founded by Episcopal clergy in 1867 for the education of freed slaves. Following years of financial and leadership instability, the institution's accreditor, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, voted in December 2023 to remove St Augustine's from its membership and revoke its accreditation.
