Sporting Club, formerly OnGoal, LLC, is a group of Kansas City investors that owns or represents a portfolio of athletic organizations under the Sporting Club umbrella. Its flagship property is Major League Soccer franchise Sporting Kansas City. Sporting Club consists of five principals: Clifford Illig, Pat Curran, Greg Maday, Robb Heineman, and Neal Patterson who died in 2017. Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes joined the ownership group in 2021.
