Southeast Georgia is an eighteen-county region within the U.S. state of Georgia, bordering Florida. The region includes a portion of Georgia's Lower Coastal Plain. Southeast Georgia's largest city is Valdosta, which forms the core of the Valdosta metropolitan area.
