Solnica is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Nowy Dwór Gdański, within Nowy Dwór Gdański County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. It lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) south-east of Nowy Dwór Gdański and 43 km (27 mi) south-east of the regional capital Gdańsk. The village was founded in 1600 by the Olęder settlers in the area of Wielkie Żuławy Malborskie. Until 1772 Laakendorf was part of the Kingdom of Poland.
