Pilots Union, 296 F.3d 380, is a court case in which the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit held that although third officer aboard an oceangoing cargo vessel was a supervisor, the six-month period of limitations of § 10(b) of the National Labor Relations Act still applies to Smith's suit against the union whether or not he was a supervisor.
