Skatval is a village in the municipality of Stjørdal in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located on the Skatval peninsula about 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) northwest of the town of Stjørdalshalsen. The inhabitants are called as Skatvalsbygg. Skatval Church is located in the village. The 0.59-square-kilometre (150-acre) village has a population (2018) of 943 and a population density of 1,598 inhabitants per square kilometre (4,140/sq mi).
