text: Sir Edward Mosley, 2nd Baronet, of Hulme, Lancashire, was an English politician who sat in the House of Commons from 1661 to 1665. Mosley was the son of Sir Edward Mosley, 1st Baronet, of Rolleston, Staffordshire. He matriculated at Brasenose College, Oxford, on 28 March 1655. He succeeded to the baronetcy on the death of his father in December 1657, inheriting his Rolleston and Hough End estates in Lancashire. He was pricked Sheriff of Lancashire in November 1660 but was replaced by December 16
