Sir Edward North Buxton, 2nd Baronet was a British Liberal Party politician. He was the son of Sir Thomas Fowell Buxton and his wife, Hannah Gurney (1783–1872). He married Catherine Gurney (1814–1911), daughter of Samuel Gurney (1786–1856) of the Norwich Gurney family, on 12 April 1836. He became 2nd Baronet Buxton of Bellfield and Runton on 19 February 1845, on the death of his father.
